pa coyotes are hard to hunt but once you figure out a good plan it all seems to fall into place. i hunt every chance i get and do pretty well there are usually 4 of us and we set up according to the wind. its hard to hunt alone but its doable. i usually stick strictly to howling it seem to work better than distress calls. watch wood edges and dont move because you never know if they are watchin. they just dont just show themselve right away and they are hard to get into sight in hard woods ares. my best tips are to watch the fields and be able to see as far down wind as possible. its alot of trial and error. we have had a pretty good year so far, we have tagged 51 and the best has yet to come. howlin in the breeding season is the ticket. i really dont use digital callers to much but when i do they work about 1 out of 3.

where at in pa are you located ?
