QUOTE(nyturkeyduster)
Do you guys think it would be a good idea to use target load on grouse, rabbits and squirrels? They have those boxes that hold 100 Federal shells at Wally World that are very affordable. Maybe I should just stick to my Remington #4s. I think the shot size of the Federal stuff is either 6 or 7 1/2. Thanks in Advance.

I bought the Federal 5's from walmart, well worth the money.

nyturkeyduster,
Yesterday I went rabbit and squirrel hunting with my 28 gauge O/U and I used #8 shot and got 2 rabbits...didn't see any squirrel.

The small shots work just fine on small game. biggrin.gif

Target loads will work fine on squirrels. I've used #8s with my 20ga. and have had no proble killing a squirrel a 35 yards with a modified choke.
